My new project....

For years on and off I have kept tropical fish tanks, the largest being around 48x15x12 (inches), now I finally have been able to setup a marine (salt water) tank, and my largest yet at 6x2x2 (feet).

Details of the filtration system, what I have done and used, etc are here.

On to the pics of the fish.....

Sorry about the quality, but the digital camera I have is only a dolphin pocket cam, and cannot better 320x200 resolution, and is no good in low light.....
The Clowns of the tank (Clown Fish known as "Ocellaris Clownfish", proper name Amphiprion ocellaris).
More of the clowns plus the Bi-Coloured Angel (Centropyge bicolor).
Another pic of the Clown 'Cleo' as my wife calls it.... The picture on the left is of our Zebra Moray Eel (Gymnomuraena zebra), which is camera shy (actually the camera just cannot pic out the detail of his head or stripes. Click here to see what he looks like....)
Full view of the cabinet and stand, this originally was a badly built black MDF construction, which my wife and I stripped and replaced with a combination of marine ply, and solid pine. The door on the front lifts up and is actually a pine bath tub panel that we had lying around. The lid is constructed of solid pine boards and suffers from a slight warp on the opening flap (hence the light shining through).
More views of the handy work, you can clearly see the warp on the opening lid here, as one side appears raised. For those who were thinking "It's a but dark for pine" the wood has been stained with an 'Antique Colonial' stainand varnish combination.
More views, this time in the normal of day light...
